About Me

I’m a graduate of Baylor University, holding degrees in Finance and Accounting. During my time at Baylor, I was also a member of the Baylor Equestrian Team. My Finance degree provides me with a comprehensive understanding of the “big picture” while simultaneously enabling me to grasp the intricate mechanics of accomplishing various tasks.

After completing my degrees, I embarked on a 14-year career at a small CPA firm. This experience allowed me to gain a broad range of skills and knowledge, as I never had to specialize in a single area of tax. Every day was a new challenge, presenting me with various tasks, research projects, and obstacles to overcome. I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of work and the opportunity to provide tax services to individuals, trusts and estates, nonprofit organizations, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, state and local taxes, FBAR reports, and respond to IRS notices. I was always ready to take on new tasks and expand my expertise.

I value building strong relationships with my clients. This allows me to tailor my financial advice to meet their unique circumstances and help them make informed decisions.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, Abby and Flounder, and engaging in various outdoor activities such as wakeboarding, snow skiing, managing my plants, and traveling. I also love running and spending quality time with friends and family.
